LETTERS: Harris lost because her campaign focused on abortion rights

I have been a pro-life activist since I was 24 years old. I have always considered and always will consider the right to life the most important issue of our time. As a result of this, many people, in particular those who support abortion rights, will often accuse me of being a one-issue voter and having a radical agenda.
For 50 years, many abortion advocates accused Republicans of being one-issue voters, and that issue being the abortion issue. They have also accused other groups of being the same way as well. However, after this past election and with Roe v. Wade now history, it happens to appear to me that those on the left, in particular the Democratic Party, are the ones who are turning into one-issue voters, and yes, that being the abortion issue.
Kamala Harris basically campaigned solely on abortion and the radical left agenda, such as the woke agenda, and it lost. Donald Trump campaigned on issues important to the American people such as inflation, the border, foreign and domestic policies and so much more. That is why Trump won this election.
As mentioned, I am a young pro-life activist, but truth be told, I don’t feel this Trump administration will be as pro-life as the first one was. Trump has already come out said he wants the abortion issue to be up to the states. He has even said he would veto a national abortion ban if such a bill made it to his desk.
I believe the fight for life is going to be won by changing hearts, and by God’s grace, we will change hearts. We in the pro-life movement need to make abortion unthinkable. May God bless us in our efforts.
